This diminutive hat is made from vintage lace trimmed in tiny pearl beads with a wired brim. It has a spray of handmade millinery style flowers in shades of cream and pale pink with pearl sheen leaves. It is accented with a feather and pearl ornament. Included also is a tiny jeweled hat pin. The hat is carefully glued on to a gold metal hat stand.
This set of drawers has an array of accessories including:
- Celluloid hand mirror
- Perfumes/toiletries etc. (one has a real mesh atomizer)
- A crystal clock
- Hat pins
- Hair comb
- A dish of jewelry including a tiny pearl necklace made from vintage beads and watch
- Tiny silver scissors
- Collar box etc.
- A stack of letter, cards, etc.
All are carefully glued to the top for presentation. There is a charming printed pretty scarf to add to that eclectic effect. Its in soft shades of green. The dresser is gilded with gilding powders that are over 75 yrs. old giving it a lovely gold patina! The top drawer is opened ever so slightly to reveal a pair of white leather gloves. The remaining drawers don’t open.
